No more HP stuff
I just rebuild my system with a quad-core processor and a brand spanky new motherboard. While that is a post in itself I noted an interesting thing about the upgrade to Vista. It really shows which vendors were "on" and those who don't care. My 8-year old Epson 1200 Inkjet printer has native driver access. I don't mean some generic driver either, it even has the utilities tab that I had to install the 16-bit software in XP to get. Now, my 1 year old HP Scanjet 4670 doesn't work. HP has end of lifed one of their most popular scanners to avoid developing a Vista driver for it. I think this is the last HP product I will buy.

To be fair after reviewing this post, they finally posted a driver for the 4670 and other HP devices. They should have been more proactive about getting this done but at least I wasn't left high and dry.
